Getting Late in Date of Joining - is it recession?

In my Blog, I have got more comments concerned about the Date of Joining.

Around 5,000-10,000 freshers could have recruited across India. All of them will  be called batch by batch. Batches are made according to the current WIPRO requirement and Client needs. Now a days, market is not stable. I wont say recession.It can take some more months or some more weeks to call, you have to wait for your turn. 

Though recruitment happens in bulk, business demand doesn't come all at once, forcing IT firms to defer joining date without telling the reason in many cases. Companies induct student in several phases and spread the joining dates over several quarters so as to not affect their quarterly financial performances.

WISTA For Science Graduate:-

WISTA provide an opportunity for young Science graduates to Earn while you Learn.It is offering 4yrs MS programme in IT received from VIT University, Vellore.

Wipro wont collect money from candidate at any stage.For the first six month, Candidate will be given Boarding and lodging since First semester will be at the VIT campus at Vellore. After that You wont be given Boarding and Lodging.You will be working and studying from Chennai till 7th semester.

WASE Background | Four years MS program | Wipro and BITS Pilani

WASE Background:

 Wipro Technologies Ltd, India and BITS, Pilani “Collaborative Academic – Occupational” “MS in Software Engineering” Program was first started in 1995. Initially when it was started until 2002 – 2004 most of the recruitment for this instrument was primarily done from south India, perhaps due to strategic location of IT mega city around Bangalore, and also the fact of surplus engineering colleges in this region churning out excessive IT professionals. The WASE program is a four years program, at the end of four years the candidates are awarded MS in Software Engineering from BITS, Pilani. Though this doesn’t guarantee the candidate would be absorbed in the organization as a regular employee after completing the WASE program. The absorbed candidates are absorbed in B1 band, i.e. the band for M.S/M.Tech fresher from outside and will start ground zero in the organization, without taking previous four years of occupational association with the organization into consideration. As per WASE candidates are designated as students in the organization, who compulsorily work full time in the organization from 8:30 – 6:00 on Weekdays as regular employees, while attend classes for the full time WASE MS program on Saturdays.

From 2012 -Fresher will be given choice to choose Stream and Location

Based on Wipro requirement ,stream will be decided for the candidate.But now they have been given choice to choose Stream and Location.

College Tier+Academic Stream+ Academic Score= Gross Merit Score

Based on Gross Merit Score, offered candidate will receive mail with the Link which allow them to choose Stream and Location.

Link will be open during a specific window and the seats availablity would be based on demand.

If all the available seats have been filled, then the remaining candidate will receive appropriate information guiding them to wait for opportunity in the next batch.

WIPRO Bond Period | Agreement for Engineering | Non Engineering | WASE | WISTA Student

Agreement period:

Since Wipro will invest in your training, you are required to sign the service agreement with Wipro Technologies. As per the agreement, you shall not leave the services of the Company for a definite period commencing from the date of completion of the training period. If you leave the Company before the expiration of the period or if the Employee's services are terminated before the expiration of the period, you shall pay to the Company liquidated damages as applicable. You will be assisted on the agreement further during your Joining formalities.

There is no advance deposit received for signing the service agreement. If the service has to be withdrawn during the training period which shall be due to non-performance the above schedule would not apply.

Explanation:

For floating point numbers (float, double, long double) the values cannot be predicted exactly. Depending on the number of bytes, the precession with of the value  represented varies. Float takes 4 bytes and long double takes 10 bytes. So float stores 0.9 with less precision than long double.

Rule of Thumb:

Never compare or at-least be cautious when using floating point numbers with relational operators (== , >, <, <=, >=,!= )
